Softball Recap: Forest Area Comes Up Short

Forest Area fell victim to Johannesburg-Lewiston and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 23-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Forest Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Johannesburg-Lewiston, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Forest Area will square off against rival Bellaire at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Johannesburg-Lewiston is set to challenge their familiar foe Inland Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
