Softball Recap: Pojoaque Valley Comes Up Short

Pojoaque Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the San Juan Broncos. That's two games in a row now that the Elks/Elkettes have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Pojoaque Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izabella Lujan, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Pojoaque Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for San Juan, their record is now 4-6.

Coming up, Pojoaque Valley will take on East Mountain at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday. As for San Juan, they will face off against Farmington at 4:20 p.m. on Saturday.
