Softball Recap: Viewmont Vikings vs. Northridge Knights

In what's become a running theme this season, Viewmont gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Northridge Knights with a sharp 14-4 victory. The win was just what Viewmont needed coming off of a 19-2 loss in their prior contest.

Molly Roberts made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Roberts was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ricki Smith was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Peyton Burningham, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs.
