It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but West Cabarrus ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Cox Mill Chargers 35-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
The critical scores for West Cabarrus came from Ka'Derrick Lewis, Johnta Harrison, Jayden Reid, and Camari McCrae.
