Basketball Recap: DJ Hardge's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hendrickson over Round Rock

Hendrickson lost against Round Rock back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks lost 75-51 to the Dragons. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DJ Hardge, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of KJ Dove, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Hendrickson and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Round Rock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Hendrickson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 83-78 defeat against Bowie on the 1st. As for Round Rock, they will head out on the road to face off against Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Rangers have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
