The Pine Grove Cardinals will venture away from home to challenge the Northampton Konkrete Kids at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pine Grove is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Grove challenged Panther Valley on Wednesday. The Cardinals blew past the Panthers 12-0. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Callee Leffler, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addison Zimmerman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Leffler wasn't the only one making solid contact: Pine Grove kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Panther Valley only managed one hit.

Meanwhile, Northampton had just enough and edged out Bethlehem Catholic 4-3 on Wednesday.

Pine Grove's record is now 8-1. As for Northampton, their record now sits at 6-2.
