Basketball Recap: Waurika Victorious

Waurika lost to Empire back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Waurika Eagles walked away with a 51-43 victory over the Empire Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Waurika's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Empire, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Waurika has already played their next contest (against Rush Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Empire will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Walters at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
