Basketball Game Preview: Edison Wildcats vs. Indian Creek Redskins

The Edison Wildcats will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Indian Creek Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Edison ended up a good deal behind Bridgeport and lost 66-49. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek came up short against Claymont on Friday and fell 46-37.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Indian Creek, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Edison ended up a good deal behind Indian Creek in their previous matchup back in January, losing 50-33. Can Edison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
