Softball Game Preview: Minford Falcons vs. Valley Indians

The Minford Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Valley Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Minford has given up an average of 16.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Minford came up short against Waverly on Wednesday, falling 20-7. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Valley hadn't done well against South Webster recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Indians blew past the Jeeps 8-2.

Valley's record now sits at 4-7. As for Minford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Minford suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
