Preview: Colusa vs. Los Molinos
Colusa is 9-1 against Los Molinos since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Colusa RedHawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Los Molinos Bulldogs at 3:15 p.m. Los Molinos took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Colusa, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Colusa kept a clean sheet against Willows. They blew past the Honkers 3-0.
Colusa was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Kenneth Arias and
Cesar Cruz, who scored all three of Colusa's goals. The pair have combined for a total of nine so far this season.
Meanwhile, Los Molinos' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 11-0 walloping at the hands of Winters. That's two games in a row now that Los Molinos has lost by exactly 11 goals.
Colusa's win bumped their record up to 7-9-3. As for Los Molinos, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13-1.
Everything went Colusa's way against Los Molinos in their previous meeting back in January as Colusa made off with a 8-2 victory. With Colusa ahead 5-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
