Baseball Recap: Woodside Takes a Loss

Woodside lost against Bethel last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Woodside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Castillo, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Woodside now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bethel, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Woodside and Bethel will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wolverines see the field they'll take on Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Bethel, their break will end when they face Grafton at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
