Basketball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View and Highland squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mountain View had to settle for second. They took a 42-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Hawks. The Toros' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Highland found their leader in freshman Peyton Jacobsen, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Elle Draves was another key player, putting up five points and nine boards.

Mountain View's record now sits at 17-10. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor Highland have any future games scheduled.
