Basketball Recap: Southfield Arts & Tech Comes Up Short

Southfield Arts & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The match between them and the Pontiac Phoenix didn't end well, with the Southfield Arts & Tech Warriors falling 64-46. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phoenix apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Southfield Arts & Tech's record now sits at 3-7. As for Pontiac, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southfield Arts & Tech will host Bloomfield Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southfield Arts & Tech is facing Bloomfield Hills at the right time seeing as Bloomfield Hills is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pontiac, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stoney Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stoney Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Pontiac likes a good challenge.
