North Atlanta had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the South Effingham Mustangs by a score of 2-0. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Samantha Bailey paced North Atlanta's offense, picking up ten kills. Bailey got some help from Genevieve Pawlowski and her 15 assists. Laila Amos controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

North Atlanta's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for South Effingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Looking ahead, North Atlanta will square off against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Effingham, they will challenge Appling County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
