Volleyball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Mio HomeSchool. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Mio HomeSchool when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mio HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairview will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hillman at 6:00 p.m. on September 9. After both having extra time off, Mio HomeSchool and Tawas Area will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
