Baseball Recap: Drummond Comes Up Short

If Drummond was riding high fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Bayfield on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lumberjacks lost 11-1 to the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles on Thursday. The match marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Drummond's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Chequamegon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Drummond will be playing in front of their home fans against Siren at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chequamegon, they have already played their next contest, a 5-3 defeat against Auburndale on the 25th.
