After low-scoring totals in their previous seven matchup, Bacon Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They put the hurt on the Windham Whippets with a sharp 4-1 win on Wednesday. The score was close at halftime, but Bacon Academy pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Windham with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Troy Johnson (2), Matt Vilardo, and Shane Meyer.

Bacon Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-6-3. As for Windham, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2.

Coincidentally, Bacon Academy and Windham will both be playing Stonington the next time they take the pitch. The Bobcats will host the Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Whippets will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
