Football Recap: Burges Mustangs vs. Hanks Knights

Burges lost against Hanks back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Mustangs and the Knights didn't end well, with the Mustangs falling 35-21. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coming up, Burges will square off against Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Scorpions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hanks, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Del Valle at 7:00 p.m. The Conquistadores' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
