Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Takes a Loss

Pendleton County lost to Rowan County back in March of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats lost 17-2 to the Vikings. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pendleton County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Verst, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Pendleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Rowan County, they moved to 16-15 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Pendleton County and Rowan County will both be playing Powell County the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Pirates at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
