The Willis Wildkats will head out to  square off against the Oak Ridge War Eagles  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Willis' favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last six games.
On Friday, Willis got the win against Conroe  by a conclusive  31-10. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildkats' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Tigers are ranked 220th).

Willis' success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Lincoln Frazier, who threw for 322 yards and two  TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, and   Jamarcus Williams, who gained 132 total yards and two touchdowns. Williams showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 57 yards. 132 of  Frazier's passing yards were hauled in by Jaivion Martin, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Willis proved: they limited Conroe to a paltry three yards per carry. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in September.
 Meanwhile, Oak Ridge came up short against  Grand Oaks on Thursday, falling  34-14. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Willis is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 41.7 points over those games. As for Oak Ridge, they now  have a losing record of 3-4.
 Everything came up roses for Willis against Oak Ridge in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, as the  team secured  a  63-17 victory. In that  contest, the Wildkats amassed a halftime lead of  42-3, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
