Kuemper came tearing into Monday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 83-51 win over the Harlan Cyclones. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Cyclones are ranked 170th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kuemper's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1.
