Softball Recap: North Eugene Highlanders vs. Churchill Lancers
North Eugene was the 12-10 winner over Churchill when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The North Eugene Highlanders fell just short of the Churchill Lancers by a score of 9-7 on Friday.
Abigail Case was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexia Diven, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
North Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Churchill, their victory bumped their record up to 6-20.
As of now, neither North Eugene nor Churchill have any future games scheduled.
