Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Benjamin Franklin lost against Metairie Park Country Day back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Cajuns by a score of 3-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Benjamin Franklin ultimately came up short, they really made Metairie Park Country Day work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 15-25, 27-29, 15-11.

Kaycie Holmes paced Benjamin Franklin's offense, picking up 20 kills. Holmes got some help from Avery Johnson and her 38 assists. Sophia Blondell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Benjamin Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Metairie Park Country Day, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Benjamin Franklin will take on Academy of the Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Metairie Park Country Day, they will challenge Haynes Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
