Willamette strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 19-10 win over the West Salem Titans. Those 19 points were actually the fewest the Wolverines have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Willamette found their leader in sophomore Zeke Thomas, who threw for 216 yards and two TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 64 yards on only seven carries. The Wolverines' leading receiver Hunter Vaughn was Thomas' top target yet again, picking up 90 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Willamette's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for West Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.

Willamette wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-22 win against North Medford on the 10th. As for West Salem, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-24 victory against North Salem on the 10th.
