After failing to score in their last game, Wood River made sure to put some goals up on the board against Skyview on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 8-1 victory. It was an even better day for Reidar Slotten as he scored three goals for his team.

Wood River's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-0-2. As for Skyview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

As for Skyview, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. The contest will give Skyview their first taste of in-conference action this season.
