Soccer Recap: Saugus Takes a Loss

Saugus lost against Winthrop two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sachems took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Saugus' loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Winthrop, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-4-3 record this season.

Saugus will host Peabody Veterans Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Winthrop, they will head out on the road to face off against Gloucester at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Winthrop are facing Gloucester at the right time seeing as Gloucester are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
