Lake Minneola piles up the points against East Ridge

The Lake Minneola Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat East Ridge 81-50 on the road. That 31 points margin sets a new team best for Lake Minneola this season.

Lake Minneola's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Blackwell, who scored 20 points along with four steals. Ethan Isom was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.

East Ridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Corman, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Vazquez, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.

Lake Minneola will head out on the road to take on Eustis at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eustis will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for East Ridge, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Leesburg at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Leesburg presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than East Ridge in Florida (Leesburg is ranked 53rd, while East Ridge is ranked 658th).
