Baseball Game Preview: Florin Panthers vs. Galt Warriors

The Florin Panthers will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Galt Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Florin is headed out to face Galt after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Panthers put the hurt on Encina with a sharp 10-2 win last Friday.

Tristan Osorio and Charles Price made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Osorio pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Price struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. At the plate, Osorio went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Price got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Osorio a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ayden Lockhart, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Galt had just enough and edged out Sheldon 7-5 on Saturday.

Florin suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Galt when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
