Basketball Recap: Bronaugh Comes Up Short

Bronaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Greenfield Wildcats 59-22. Bronaugh was not able to make up for their loss to Greenfield from their previous meeting back in February of 2021.

Despite the loss, Bronaugh still got an impressive performance from Jada Brundridge, who posted seven points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Brundridge is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Bronaugh's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Greenfield, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bronaugh Wildcats take on the Sheldon Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on January 28th. Sheldon will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Bronaugh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greenfield, they will head out to take on Purdy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
