            High Point Christian Academy  took care of business in their home opener  (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on Cannon [Cannon/Concord Academy] with a sharp  34-14 victory. This was payback for High Point Christian Academy, who suffered  a  42-14  loss the last time these two teams met.

 Jaylen Moore was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 171 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, and also picked up 82 receiving yards and one  TD. His rushing production has been exceptional  for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 100  rushing yards dating back to last season. As for Cannon [Cannon/Concord Academy], they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  62-8  victory against Covenant Day on the 29th.
