Isabel Huckaby was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makessa Hinkle, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Greenville H put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Monday. They blew past Carolina Academy 68-16 at home. The victory was nothing new for Greenville H as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Greenville H can attribute much of their success to Opal Maralit, who scored 12 points along with six steals and five assists, and Keely Price, who scored 25 points along with three steals. Maralit also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Bailey Amerson, who scored six points along with two steals and two blocks.
Providence Athletic Club's win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9. As for Greenville H, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Monday's match is shaping up to be a scrappy game: Providence Athletic Club have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 25.2 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Greenville H, though, as they've been averaging only 33.3 rebounds per game. Given Providence Athletic Club's sizeable advantage in that area, Greenville H will need to find a way to close that gap.
