Baseball Recap: Bennington Badgers vs. Gretna Dragons

Bennington is still undefeated this season after their contest against Gretna on Thursday, but Gretna came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Badgers never let the Dragons get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Bennington got a great performance from Houston Hill as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 6.1 innings pitched. Hill has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bennington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Spencer, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Morgan Schuman was another, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
