West Brook and La Porte are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Bruins will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with West Brook sitting on four straight wins and La Porte on five.

On Friday, West Brook made easy work of Port Arthur Memorial and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Brook was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-15, 25-12.

Meanwhile, La Porte got the win against Hargrave on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

La Porte got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 30-28, 25-20.

La Porte's win bumped their record up to 25-13. As for West Brook, their victory bumped their record up to 29-11.

Everything went West Brook's way against La Porte in their previous matchup back in September, as West Brook made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
