Softball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

Stratford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the University School of Nashville Tigers, falling 19-9.

Stratford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for University School of Nashville, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stratford will square off against Antioch at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for University School of Nashville, they will face off against Pearl-Cohn at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Firebirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.8 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
