It was a good run, but San Luis Obispo unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 99-62 loss at the hands of the St. Joseph Knights. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Knights are ranked sixth).

San Luis Obispo's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for St. Joseph, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Luis Obispo will host Arroyo Grande at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atascadero at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in St. Joseph's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
