Volleyball Game Preview: Taholah Chitwhins vs. Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks + How To Watch

The Taholah Chitwhins will square off against the Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Columbia Adventist Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Taholah, who comes in off a win.

Columbia Adventist Academy will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Taholah extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Chitwhins came out on top against Willapa Valley by a score of 3-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Chitwhins' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Taholah got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 29-31, 25-20, 25-15.

Taholah found their leader in sophomore Markie McCrory, who had ten digs and three aces.

Taholah was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Columbia Adventist Academy suffered their biggest defeat since October 7th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Pe Ell. The Kodiaks haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Columbia Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Taholah, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Taholah was able to grind out a solid win over Columbia Adventist Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Chitwhins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Kodiaks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
