Isaac Solorzano put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Solorzano and Montebello will host Schurr at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Oilers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Spartans thanks in part to Solorzano: he didn't allow a single earned run over eight innings pitched.
