Soccer Game Preview: Detroit Cristo Rey vs. Cabrini

Detroit Cristo Rey is 0-6 against Cabrini since April of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The WOLVES will head out on the road to face off against the Monarchs at 5:00 p.m.

Detroit Cristo Rey is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Austin Catholic on Tuesday. Neither the WOLVES nor the Crusaders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Cabrini got the win against Academy of the Sacred Heart on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cabrini.

Cabrini now has a winning record of 2-1. Detroit Cristo Rey's draw gives them a new season record of 0-1-1.

Detroit Cristo Rey suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Cabrini when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the WOLVES avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
