It was a good run, but Palmyra unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 56-38 fall against the Clayton Clippers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Clippers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Clayton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

While Palmyra had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
