Volleyball Preview: Lathrop Malemutes vs. South Anchorage Wolverines

Meanwhile, South Anchorage faced Dimond in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. South Anchorage fell just short of Dimond by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Wolverines seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
The match was exciting from start to finish, as oneset needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-23.
South Anchorage's defeat dropped their record down to 31-10-3. As for Lathrop, they pushed their record up to 38-9-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
