Recap: Adams Cougars vs. Bishop Lynch Friars
After flying high against the Adamson Leopards on Saturday, the Adams Cougars came back down to earth. Adams took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Lynch on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Adams in their matchups with Bishop Lynch: they've now lost seven in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Adams lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keiontay marsh. Despite the final result, he scored 29 points. Marsh scored a full 60.4% of Adams' points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Altrie Farris was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 11 rebounds and 5 assists.
Adams' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Bishop Lynch, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Adams will take on Tournament Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Lynch is on the road again on Thursday and play against Clear Springs at 6:30 p.m. on November 30th.
