Indian Trail entered their tilt with Greendale on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Indian Trail easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15.

Ashley Ray paced Indian Trail's offense, picking up seven kills. Ray got some help from Reagan Stewart and her 11 assists. Kinsley Christensen-Bara controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Indian Trail's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Greendale, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Indian Trail will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Racine Park at 6:30 p.m. on October 14. As for Greendale, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pius XI Catholic on the 13th.
