Soccer Recap: Butler Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Butler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Mecklenburg Vikings. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Butler couldn't quite close it out.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-2. As for North Mecklenburg, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5-2.

Butler has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Mallard Creek on the 20th. As for North Mecklenburg, they will square off against Chambers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
