Softball Recap: Sharyland Comes Up Short

Sharyland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 10-5 to the Vela Sabercats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sabercats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-11 back in March.

Sharyland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Vela, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Coincidentally, Sharyland and Vela will both be playing Rowe the next time they take the field. The Rattlers will head out to face the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Sabercats will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
