The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Mills, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with a stolen base and an RBI.
Thrasher's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Wheeler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
