Hamilton's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Saltillo Tigers, sneaking past 2-0. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Saltillo, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-17-1 record.

Coming up, Hamilton will head out to challenge Hatley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Saltillo, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Amory at 6:30 p.m.
