 Spring Grove's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  15-3 margin over the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Spring Grove considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
  Brinley Middendorf was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   three  hits. Middendorf has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Middendorf was even better at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Spring Grove got a  massive  performance out of  Katelyn Kraus, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.  Sydney Holland was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.
 On Lyle/Pacelli's side,  Lillie Gardner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Spring Grove's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Lyle/Pacelli, their defeat was  their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-20.
 Spring Grove will take on Schaeffer Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Spring Grove is facing Schaeffer Academy at the right time seeing as Schaeffer Academy is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak. As for Lyle/Pacelli, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Blooming Prairie at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Blooming Prairie's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so Lyle/Pacelli's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
