For East Liverpool, this counts as revenge for the 56-41 defeat Oak Glen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
East Liverpool's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenzie Headley, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Headley has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Craig is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Kami Ward was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
East Liverpool's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Oak Glen, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
