It's playoff time, and St. John had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Paul VI Panthers 8-2 on Saturday. Considering the Cadets have won 22 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was St. John's 20th in a row) raised their record to 30-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Paul VI, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-8.

As of now, neither St. John's nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
