Soccer Recap: Cape Coral Find Success

After losing to Riverdale the last time they met, Cape Coral decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cape Coral Seahawks won by a goal and slipped past the Riverdale Raiders 2-1.

Sophia Fallacara and Alexis Myers scored both of Cape Coral's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The win got Cape Coral back to even at 7-7-3. As for Riverdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6-2.

Cape Coral will head out to square off against Port Charlotte at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cape Coral is facing Port Charlotte at the right time seeing as Port Charlotte is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Riverdale, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Ida Baker at 7:00 p.m. Riverdale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
